Three Hammers

Against: Sudden two-handed push from close

Note: You will probably not be able to stop the push so maintain balance by slightly stepping back with one foot.

1.

Right-fist knuckle strike to arm and almost simultaneous hard block 4

2.

Step and pull with right hammer to abdomen etc.

3.

You’ll be on your opponent’s side now. Swivel and left hammer strike to distant kidney.

4.

Pivot again and hard hammer or forearm to neck etc.

Kenpo 1

Against: Front two knuckle punch

1.

Block 3, and simultaneous thrust punch to kidney area etc.

2.

Right back-fist strike to face. The previous Block 3 can be used to continue pushing opponents arm/shoulder down if it’s in the way of the back-fist strike (usually for taller opponents)

3.

Left thrust-punch to kidney.

4.

Kick to abdomen and cross over.

Kenpo 4

Against: Front two-knuckle punch

1.

Block 1 with simultaneous Front-ball kick. You can be right or left foot forward in stance for this.

2.

Right palm heel, and bring back down the hand with a claw.

3.

Left  palm heel, and bring back down the hand with a claw.

Cross over.

Shooting Arrows

Against: Two-handed grab

1.

Double outward block (ridge hand) while stepping back and throwing opponent off balance.

2.

Front-ball kick

3.

Right spear strike to throat as the foot lands down from the previous kick

4.

Left spear strike to throat while stepping in. Now you should be in a left foot forward position.

5.

Grab opponent’s arm around the biceps with your left hand, simultaneously moving your right hand around his neck in a ridge hand like strike to grab hold of him. Step in with right foot forward behind his leg to initiate hawkdown.

6.

Quick hawkdown, strike, cross-over.

Spinning Apprentice

Against: Two handed grab

1.

Step in and Right palm heel to face, dislodging opponents left hand grip

2.

Hard block 3 to opponent’s right hand. You may want to move your front (right) foot to the left a bit in preparation for the next step.

3.

Continuing the previous motion, Swivel around 180° anti-clockwise and left Hammerstrike to opponents face. Adjust feet as needed during this movement keeping your next move in mind. If you’re too close to the opponent, then use elbow instead.

4.

Swivel back clockwise 180° and right Hammerstrike to face. Ideally you should be right-foot forward till now.

5.

Left Front ball kick

DM2

Against: Front two-knuckle punch

1.

Step-in with hard Block 3

2.

Right Back-fist

3.

Shuffle forward and Right Elbow to face

4.

Continue the Elbow motion in circular fashion (adjust feet if necessary), going all the way down to opponent’s knee. Strike with hammer behind knee and use other hand to grab and lift leg, throwing down opponent.

5.

Right Shooto to groin (left hand still holds the leg in control).
